NEET UG 2026 Answer Key: Check Provisional Answer Key After 21 June Re-Examination

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) is India’s major entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical and allied courses. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS and other eligible courses. NEET UG scores are also used for shortlisting candidates for the BSc Nursing course at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals.

Candidates who appeared in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination on 21 June 2026 (Sunday) are now waiting for the official provisional answer key. NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination Date

On June 21, 2026, eligible students took the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. NEET UG 2026 Total Questions and Subject-Wise Question Distribution

NEET UG 2026 examination has a total of 180 compulsory multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The paper is divided into three subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Biology is further divided into Botany and Zoology.

Each correct answer carries 4 marks, while 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks are given or deducted for unanswered questions.

Candidates must thus carefully respond to each of the 180 questions. Biology has the largest weight, with 90 questions and 360 points, while Physics and Chemistry combined have 90 questions and 360 points. The NEET UG official website has the official NEET UG 2026 information bulletin.

NEET UG 2026 Answer Key Release Date

The proposed answer key for the June 21 re-examination has not yet been validated by NTA as of June 21, 2026. Unverified dates that are circulating on illegitimate websites, Telegram channels, and other media should not be trusted by candidates.

NTA generally publishes the provisional answer key along with the scanned image of the OMR answer sheet and recorded responses. Once these documents are released, candidates can log in with their application number and password or date of birth to check their answers.
The official NEET portal already lists notices related to the NEET UG 2026 re-examination and also contains answer-key notices for the earlier examination process.
