Education Qualification for APGCL Junior Manager Recruitment 2026

Candidates applying for the APGCL Junior Manager Recruitment 2026 must possess the following educational qualifications:

• Applicants must have a full-time Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline from an AICTE-recognized or Government-recognized Polytechnic/Institution.
• The diploma course should be either:
• A 3-year Diploma after HSLC (Class 10), or
• A 2-year (Base) + 2-year Diploma course.

• Applicants must have secured at least

a. 60% marks for General, OBC/MOBC, and EWS candidates.

b. 50% marks for SC and ST candidates.

• The required engineering discipline must match the post applied for (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Information Technology, or Instrumentation).
• Candidates must possess all essential educational qualifications on or before the last date of submitting the online application.

Note- Candidates should ensure that their diploma qualification is recognized by the appropriate authority. Applications from candidates who do not meet the prescribed educational criteria will be rejected.

Eligibility Criteria for APSC APGCL Recruitment 2026

Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. Applicants must also be permanent residents of Assam.

For Assam residency proof, candidates need to upload a valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam. Educational or employment exchange registration certificates may also be treated as residency proof, as mentioned in the notification.

Government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective department/employer at the time of application or as required by APSC.
