SAMARTH Admission Portal 2024: To simplify the admission process for Undergraduate Programs in all Higher Education Institutes of Assam, the Government of Assam introduced a common online admission portal named SAMARTH starting from the academic session 2023 – 2024. SAMARTH Admission Portal enables the online admission process for BA, BCom, BSc, etc., in accordance with the New Education Policy 2020 in Assam.
“Samarth” is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Education in 2019 under the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT-II, now NMEICT-III). Its goal is to empower universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with a digital framework for planning, management, delivery, and monitoring of services for students, staff, and other stakeholders. The project provides HEIs with a fully managed, cloud-based, comprehensive ERP tailored for the country’s HEIs.
Registration for admission into various Colleges and Universities for UG courses for the academic session 2024 – 2025 is open now. Programme and College selection will begin after declaration of Class 12 results.
