Education Qualification
| Candidates must have completed PG in Geophysics, M.SC , Tech in Applied Geophysics, M.Tech in Exploration Geophysics , M.Tech in Geophysics, Integrated M,SC – Phd from any govt recognized University or Institutions. |
| Candidates must upload all relevant semester/year-wise mark sheets reflecting the subjects studied, along with the final pass certificate. |
| Experience– 5 Years experience in Geophysics in the field and Laboratory. |
Eligibility Criteria for APSC Geophysicist Recruitment 2026
Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. Applicants must also be permanent residents of Assam.
For Assam residency proof, candidates need to upload a valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam. Educational or employment exchange registration certificates may also be treated as residency proof, as mentioned in the notification.
For Government Employee of the State
Government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective department/employer at the time of application or as required by APSC.

Candidates must submit the Small Family Norms Declaration Form as prescribed by the Government of Assam. The declaration form should be duly filled in and uploaded/submitted wherever required during the application process.
