BCPL Recruitment 2026 Overview

Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL), a Government of India Enterprise, has released a detailed advertisement (Advt. No. BCPL-NE/06/2026) inviting online applications from eligible candidates for various Non-Executive posts. A total of 21 posts are on offer across Foreman, Junior Superintendent and Technician/Operator categories in Grades S-5 and S-3, along with 3 additional posts reserved exclusively for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) under a Trainee scheme. PwBD Reserved Candidates

In addition to the 21 posts above, BCPL has identified 3 posts as suitable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) under a Trainee scheme.

Eligibility

1. Foreman (Chemical)
   1. Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Petrochemical Engineering / Chemical Technology with minimum 55% marks.
   2. Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
2. Foreman (Civil)
   1. Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 55% marks.
   2. Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
3. Junior Superintendent (Human Resources)
   1. Bachelor’s Degree with Diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations.
   2. Minimum 50% marks in each qualification.
   3. Computer proficiency required.
   4. Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
4. Foreman (Instrumentation)
   1. Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Instrumentation with minimum 55% marks.
   2. Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
5. Operator (Chemical)
   1. B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry with minimum 50% marks.
   2. Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience.
6. Technician Posts
   1. Matric with ITI/NAC in the relevant trade.
   2. Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.

Salary Details BCPL Recruitment 2026

Selected candidates will receive attractive pay scales along with various allowances and benefits.

1. Grade S-5 Posts

• Pay Scale: Rs. 28,500 – 86,570 per month

2. Grade S-3 Posts

• Pay Scale: Rs. 25,000 – 81,430 per month

Application Fee

• General, EWS and OBC (NCL) category candidates: Rs 200 (non-refundable), payable online only.
• SC, ST and PwBD category candidates: exempted from application fee, subject to submission of the relevant certificate at the time of further selection process.
• Fees once paid cannot be withdrawn, refunded, or held in reserve for future exams/selection. Transaction charges, if any, are borne by the candidate

How to Apply BCPL Recruitment 2026

1. Visit the official BCPL website, www.bcplonline.co.in, and go to the Careers section
2. Register with a valid e-mail ID that will remain active for at least one year – it cannot be changed later.
3. Fill in the online Application Form carefully; candidates can apply for ONE post only. If more than one application is submitted, only the later one is considered
4. Upload your latest passport-size photograph and signature (.jpg/.jpeg, under 50 KB), plus scanned copies of age proof, category/disability certificates, mark sheets and experience certificates (.jpg/.pdf, up to 200 KB each).
5. Pay the application fee (if applicable) through the online payment gateway. No other payment mode is accepted, and no changes are allowed after payment.
6. Download the system-generated Pay-in Slip and Registration Slip after submission, and keep them safe for future reference. Hard copies need not be sent to BCPL.

Documents Required

If shortlisted for the further Selection Process, candidates must carry the downloaded Application Form, original documents (with one self-attested photocopy set) in the following order:

1. Printout of the online Application Form with 2 recent passport photographs and signature
2. Date of Birth proof – Birth Certificate / Class-X Certificate / Marksheet / Admit Card with visible DOB
3. Caste/Tribe certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS, as applicable) in the Government of India prescribed forma
4. Disability certificate (for PwBD candidates) in the prescribed format.
5. Ex-servicemen proof, where applicable.
6. All mark sheets and Degree/Diploma certificates from matriculation onward.
7. Complete and proper Experience Certificates/documents from the employer, as per the formats specified for past and current employment (appointment letter, experience letter, relieving order or latest pay slip, as applicable).

Note: Candidates employed in Central/State Government, PSEs or Autonomous Bodies must forward their application through proper channel or produce an NOC from their current employer at the time of the further selection process, failing which certain service benefits may be forfeited on selection.

Selection Process BCPL Recruitment 2026

Candidates fulfilling all eligibility criteria will be considered for the further Selection Process, which will consist of Skill Test / Proficiency Test / Endurance Test / Written Test, communicated well in advance. Depending on the number of eligible applications, BCPL may adopt a short-listing criterion by suitably raising the minimum eligibility standards. The selection process is tentative and may vary based on administrative requirements or Government of India directives. No travelling expenses are payable for the written test.

Medical Fitness

Appointment is subject to medical fitness as per Company standards, verified through a Central/State Government Hospital, a BCPL-authorised hospital, or a Civil Surgeon. For technical posts, total myopia (including cylinder) must not exceed -4.00D and hypermetropia must not exceed +4.00D in each eye. For non-technical posts, myopia must not exceed -8.00D and hypermetropia must not exceed +6.00D (for candidates above 20 years).

Terms & Conditions

1. Category (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD) once filled in the application form cannot be changed later, and no benefit of another category will be admissible.
2. OBC candidates belonging to the creamy layer are not entitled to OBC concessions and must indicate their category as “General”.
3. Only PwBD candidates with not less than 40% relevant disability are eligible for reservation benefits; a disability certificate as per the prescribed Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment format is mandatory.
4. Furnishing false or incorrect information at any stage will lead to summary rejection of candidature, even after appointment
5. Application under fictitious/pseudo names or e-mail IDs is strictly prohibited and liable for action under the IT Act, 2000.
6. BCPL reserves the right to raise minimum eligibility standards, and to fill, restrict, enlarge, modify or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning reasons.
