The selection process will include the following stages:
1) Shortlisting- of Application

3) Medical Examination
SSB-recommended candidates must pass the necessary medical exam.
4) Finl Merit List

Candidates for BE/B.Tech programs will be shortlisted based on their grades through the fifth semester. Marks up to the seventh semester may be taken into account for integrated BE/B.Tech courses. All semester grades or pre-final year performance will be taken into consideration for postgraduate candidates.
Indian Navy SSC Officer Salary 2026
Selected candidates will join as Sub Lieutenant after clearing the induction medical examination at Indian Naval Academy.
The initial gross salary of a Sub Lieutenant is approximately ₹1,20,000 per month, along with applicable allowances. Pilot/ NAOO and Submarine allowances is ₹31,250 per month.
