Samagra Shiksha, Axom is Assam’s integrated school education programme. Through this notification, the Mission is engaging trained disability and special education professionals to support children with special needs (CWSN) in schools. All three posts require a recognised Special Education qualification with a valid RCI CRR number, so this recruitment is open only to RCI-registered professionals.

Applicants must be Indian citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. The posts are temporary and contractual, and the engagement will not lead to a regular government job.

Age Limit for Apply Samagra Shiksha Assam Recruitment 2026

Candidates must be at least 18 years and not more than 62 years of age as on 01 January 2026.

Age is calculated only on the basis of the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognised Board or Council. No other document is accepted in place of these.

Terms and Conditions

1. Posts are temporary. Initial engagement is for 11 months only.
2. No regularisation or absorption under Samagra Shiksha, Axom or any programme of the Government of Assam.
3. Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient discharge of duties
4. Test/interview dates will be communicated separately to shortlisted candidates.
5. The Selection Committee’s decision on acceptance or rejection of applications, conduct of the test and selection is final.
