Eligibility Criteria For SC Scholarship 2024

Community Eligibility: Only students from the SC community are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Citizenship Requirement: The scholarships are exclusively open to Indian nationals.

State of Domicile: Domicile state refers to the state where students have their permanent address. Applicants must accurately provide their domicile state information, as applications may undergo verification by authorities from their respective State of Domicile.

Family Eligibility: All children of any parent or guardian are entitled to receive benefits under this scheme.

Income Ceiling:

For Pre-Matric (Class-IX & X) [Component-I] and Post-Matric Scholarship:

Scholarships will be awarded to SC students whose parental or guardian’s income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum. The income certificate must be obtained exclusively from the Circle Officer of the respective Revenue Circle.

For Pre-Matric (Class I-X) [Component-II] Scholarship:

There is no income restriction for the children of those engaged in occupations involving cleaning and prone to health hazards.

Note: Children of those engaged in occupations involving cleaning and prone to health hazards must submit a certificate from the District Social Welfare office, an identified officer of the local body, civic agency, or any authority designated by the State Government as eligible candidates.
